Paid Survey Review: Keynote Research

Sunday, November 20th, 2011

Paid Survey Review: Keynote ResearchLast time on our paid survey review, will discussed a U.S. based reward survey site Zoom Panel. Today, we will focus on another U.S. based reward survey site, the Keynote Research.

Keynote Research is the leading provider of Customer Experience Management products and services.  Their flagship product, the Keynote XMS Suite™, is a collection of hosted software applications, research and customer panels that enable the customer-driven enterprise to capture and interpret the behavior, thoughts and attitudes of their customers on the Web, surfacing key customer insights.

I have only heard positive reviews on Keynote Research. Once you have signed up you wait for emails to get sent to your inbox inviting you to evaluate a site. The invitations are always related to your interests and have limited spots. To ensure you get a place in the research make sure you respond quickly as spots fill up fast. Your job is to help reshape the web experience for everyone through feedback on websites. You are prompted to complete certain tasks and respond to a series of questions on the certain site, which usually takes 30‐45minutes. Once completed, your reward is sent out in an email within 3 business days. This reward is generally in the form of an Amazon gift voucher code.

Their customers experience evaluation methodology sends actual or target customers to any website and then collects qualitative, quantitative and behavioral data as users pursue actual tasks in a natural environment, such as their own homes or offices. A typical evaluation includes a sample of 200 to 800 users, consisting of either a client’s actual customers or target members of the 160,000-person Keynote Research panel.

Keynote Research was founded in late 1998 and is backed by venture capitalists Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Sequoia Capital, Partech International and Accenture Technology Ventures. Their management team includes executives from Information Resources, Inc. (IRI), Microsoft, Oracle, IBM and Portal Software.  More than 200 customers, including Best Buy, Cisco Systems, Citibank, Compaq, Dell, eBay, Microsoft, Pfizer, SAP, Wells Fargo and more than 100 of the Fortune 1000 use Keynote.

This is a recommended survey site to join.

Toluna is a community website dedicated to providing your online voice. Make your opinion heard through your polls and opinions directly on Toluna. Let other people know what you think, and find out if people think the same as you by including your polls and opinions in your own personal blog.

I have heard some negative feedback about Toluna. A few members have complained about getting towards the end of the survey only to be told they do not qualify to complete the survey. However I have also heard a lot of positive things. Toluna is a website allowing you to voice your opinion. You can also create your own polls to include on your personal blog to see if others have the same opinion, which personally I think is great. Every service offered is free of charge and most award points which can be converted for gift vouchers, discount options and entry into prize draws.

Participating in quick surveys, discussion groups and online polls is a fun and easy way to get online rewards and to add your voice to other consumer opinions.

Paid Survey Review: Winning Surveys

Wednesday, November 2nd, 2011

Winning SurveysiDonate was the center of our discussion last paid survey review. Today, we will move on to our next paid survey review, Winning Surveys.

Winning Surveys is an Australian site that rewards its members with an entry into a prize draw for each survey completed.

By joining, you will receive offers via email each week which could include paid surveys, competitions, sample products and general offers.

This has its negatives and its positives. It’s great because you have the opportunity to win some fantastic prizes, including a Macbook or $5000 cash. The negative is the fact that you could spend a lot of time completing surveys for no reward at all. You will generally receive 2‐3 emails per week to complete.

If you are someone that likes entering competitions then Winning Surveys is the site for you. However, if you want to be guaranteed something in return for your time maybe try joining another site.

Contact Winning Surveys directly if you would like a particular type of offer or increased or decreased levels of offers emailed to you. They can completely customize your experience.
